Following the announcement that Energy Fuels Inc. is to acquire ASM, MST Financial Research Analyst Chris Drew has published an updated research paper highlighting the strong strategic rationale behind the transaction.
Through the transaction, Energy Fuels will extend its presence in the global rare earths supply chain by adding ASM’s metallisation and alloying capability to its existing feedstock and separation asset base. The Dubbo Project also represents an additional feedstock opportunity for Energy Fuels.

“The Energy Fuels planned acquisition of ASM is set to leverage ASMs strengths in metallisation and alloying into a low cost, integrated producer, with proven technical capabilities, and a strong US presence…While the share price will now be driven by the EF share price, we continue to see longer term value in the ASM asset base.”
